Deborah in my opinion was the best bookkeeper we ever had. She completed all aspects of bookkeeping and oversaw the Accounts Receivable and Payable Clerks for Automotive Warehouse. She would watch over all the bills, and accounts to make sure all products were received and properly accounted for and would also monitor the utility bills for issues with fluctuation.

As well she was responsible for the full-cycle bookkeeping for two Canadian and one US Mufflerman shops. When Deborah replaced our prior bookkeeper the Mufflerman records were almost a full year behind and the books were completed on a Dos based program. Within three months Deborah had transferred all three companies to the Simply Accounting format and had caught up the books for our Chartered Accountant to complete the yearend process.

Deborah's work was well organized, completed in a timely manner and was always very accurate. She made the accountants yearend preparation easy. Deborah would be an asset to any company.

Way back in '02 we were introduced to Deborah Caron when she visited our office as staff of the largest accounting firm in Niagara. Historically, we always had difficulty with accounting firms. We would go from one to another every few years. The reason being that we were just not satisfied with the service and little advice being offered in exchange for the large fees charged.

In conversations with Deborah, during her visits, we learned that she drew much criticism from superiors for spending too much time on the little accounts. Their job as juniors was to get the little accounts out the door quickly. It is not surprising that Deborah now finds satisfaction as a free lance.

One particular event of note, an observation she made, "Considering all the trouble you have had with various accounting firms, large and small, I see the problem is here, in this office and the administrative process to be exact."

Deborah can be pretty blunt and to the point. But she was exactly right and given the authority to change everything.
